Hand-crafted in Hawai'i, this beautiful Ipu Heke (double-gourd drum) provides the rhythmic accompaniment to the oli (chant).It is the ho'opa'a, or chanter that traditionally beat t he ipu heke in order to keep the rhythm for the hula dancer.
