Turbo Clearance: On 94–97 trucks, the driver's side rear fitting requires loosening/sliding the turbo to install the higher-flowing JIC fitting in the head. We recommend loosening the exhaust manifold bolts, downpipe, and pedestal bolts so you can slide the turbo assembly slightly out of the way.
