Copper Iris (Iris fulva)Iris Family The copper color of this iris is unique and striking in the landscape. The 2-3” flowers are open just a few days, but are a hummingbird magnet. Plants prefer consistently moist or wet soils, but can handle small periods of drought when established. They can easily be grown in a container to meet high moisture needs. Foliage declines throughout the summer, but fresh green leaves emerge for fall and winter interest.
