(Schafer/Sacks 92) This 1992 introduction from iris breeders Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks has proven particularly vigorous in our trials. The 3' tall flower spikes are topped in lat e spring with flowers composed of very dark falls, highlighted with white veining, while the standards are nearly white with light lavender veins...very cool. Well-drained soil is preferred, but Siberian iris are very tolerant of all but soggy soils. In the 2005 Siberian Iris Society Popularity Poll, it still ranked #1! Show more
