Iris study is an original oil pastel drawing. This piece is quite a delicate drawing. The purples matched with lush greens and a bold warm background really creates a serene, cozy atmosphere. This drawing was inspired by, I suppose a bit of a sequel from my first Iris drawing because I found it difficult to draw this particular flower, so this was a second study to really analyse and pick apart the Iris flower in this drawing.
