Preheat your oven to 350 f. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan. In a large bowl combine the dry mix with 1/2 cup warm Guinness or Murphy's Stout or your favorite GF BeerAfter 20 minutes fold in 1/2 cup mayonnaisemixing until well combined and smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 min, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.Once cooled, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar, frost it, or serve it as is.
