Most of the Muzha Tieguanyin made nowadays is rather expensive and rarely meets the standards we have in terms of sustainability. In the last fifteen years, some friends in Shi Din g introduced Tieguanyin varietal trees into their ecological gardens. These gardens are protected by Master Tsai Yizhe’s Tea Mountain Preservation Society. In 2021, the trees were old enough and the processing practiced enough to create a nice Tieguanyin that the farmers felt was good enough to take to market.
