This is a high grade version of a famous Oolong; a celebrated tea traditionally from the southern part of Fujian. We stock either Chinese or Taiwanese Tie Guan Yin, depending on availablity. Beautifully rolled dark emerald-green tea leaves shaped into irregular balls give a distinctive aroma evocative of mandarin orchards in full bloom that are found all over the plantations where the tea is grown. It gives a sparkling green infusion and has an unforgettable, unique taste. Only a pinch is needed to make a delicious cup of tea, they unfurl beautifully into surprisingly large leaves.
