Hand-thrown stoneware vase with a strong architectural form and layered moss green, iron, blue, and earthy glaze movement. This one-of-a-kind vase was individually made on the pottery wheel and shaped with a broad body, defined shoulder, and softly flared rim. The angular transition between the body and neck gives the piece a more sculptural profile than a traditional rounded vase. The glaze is the defining feature of this piece. Layers of mossy green, iron brown, smoky blue, and warm mineral tones move across the surface, creating natural variation and depth from the firing process. Areas of the glaze break darker over the form while lighter tones collect along the shoulder and rim.Because of the reactive nature of the glaze, the surface changes depending on the light and viewing angle, giving the vase a rich, earthy character. The compact form works well with small floral arrangements, dried stems, or displayed on its own as a piece of handmade studio pottery. Each piece is individually thrown and glazed by hand, so variation in shape, glaze movement, and surface is part of its unique character.Key Features & Artisan Details Hand Thrown: Individually made on the pottery wheel.
