Small scale floral motif patterns create a charming classical look. The colourways are subtle and understated.Isadora is a sprig print. A single motif — three cornflowers on a short stem with a pair of green leaves — is set out across an open ground in a half-drop grid, with plenty of plain space between each one. It is the simplest design in the collection and the most traditional: this is the pattern you find under later layers when you strip a wall in an old house.Plaster is a soft pink-clay ground with cream flowers and a dusty rose centre. Warm rather than sweet, and the most forgiving of the five in a room with mixed light.A sprig print gives a room character without asking for attention — the oldest trick in English decorating and still the most useful.Isadora is a straight match with a very short 17.6cm pattern repeat, the smallest in this collection, which means almost no waste when you cut your drops. It is printed on a non-woven substrate: you paste the wall rather than the paper, which makes it quicker to hang and strippable when you remove it. Also available in Sage, Blue, Ochre and Neutral/Mulberry.
