ISAGER TWEED is a single ply blend of 70% wool and 30% mohair. This yarn has a slightly irregular "thick-and-thin" texture, and the mohair fibres give the yarn a remarkable softnes s and a lovely sheen. Isager Tweed works equally well for both indoor and outdoor garments and with the small flecks in different colours the yarn has great texture. This lovely yarn is characterized by its beautiful colour play and fine structure. It works well on its own, or combined with other yarns, such as Isager Alpaca 1, Alpaca 2 or Silk Mohair. Please note that as this is a single ply yarn, it may have a tendency to twist on itself, and we do not recommend working it in the round unless using a textured/cabled stitch pattern or colourwork. Single ply yarns also tend to be more delicate, so try not to apply too much tension to this yarn while working to avoid breakage. For seaming, use a stronger, plied yarn in a similar colour.
