INSPIRATION: Part of my childhood was spent living in the tropics, and to this day hibiscus blooms remind me of the ones we had in our yard. Whatever your location, these warm and vibrant flowers lend that carefree tropical vibe. Part of my “Color Notes” series, this painting includes thick color swatches of paint along the bottom edge of the painting. Inspired by the art of nature journaling and of notes in music, these Color Notes paintings celebrate the signature colors used in the creation of each piece. DETAILS: This is a framed original painting. 5x7" acrylic painting on 8x10" panel, total size 9.5x11.5” including the frame. Signed on the front and finished with a gloss varnish.
