Isoeugenol was a key component of many historic perfumes (including Chanel's No 5) and is the best spice synthetic to take a rich clove and pimento note long in to the drydown of a scent. Unfortunately its use is now restricted to 0.11% of a finished product. Other Isoeugenol "replacer" types such as Methyl Diantilis from Givaudan introduce unwanted nuances such as vanilla and while these materials are wonderful in their own right, they are not true replacers of Isoeugenol. For that reason Fraterworks® offers Isoeugenol Replacer 296766, a complex blend of materials that mimics the top note elegance and the base note longevity of isoeugenol while providing all the volumizing power of the original material. Isoeugenol Replacer can be used at a whopping 7.35% of your finished product and doesn't introduce any unwanted notes.
