Damaged structural components require separate replacement. Ista Large Ceramic Replacement Directions Shut off the CO2 supply and remove the diffuser from the aquarium. Open the ceramic-retaining cover and remove the original disc. Clean the seating area carefully without scratching or cracking the acrylic body. Position the new ceramic evenly, reinstall the cover and refill the bubble-counter chamber as required.
