Badalassi Carlo is well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100's of years. They are a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium, which certifies that the leather is tanned using strict traditional vegetal methods. Each piece is hand cut, hand stitched, and individually crafted by a local artisan using the finest premium Italian leather.
