Both of the slubbed silk fabrics for this pillow come from vintage Japanese kimonos that I sourced and disassembled. The surface design on the two-tone purple fabric is a fanciful medley of clouds, bamboo, and stylized flower petals. The abstract geometry on the other panel features highly technical shading and a tiny, surprise pop of bright orange. The backing is deadstock waxed cotton twill. The insert is feather and down.
