This scarf is comprised of 36 pieces of silk from a vintage mens kimono I deconstructed. The woven stripe is a lightweight fabric – in excellent condition for its age. All the piec es in this scarf are cut on the bias and the exposed seams create frayed edges. There are no hems on the perimeter of the scarf. Except for a few patches, the edges are selvedge from the original, narrow Japanese looms. The length is 65" and the width ranges from 13-15." Any discoloration or damage is due to the vintage nature of the fabric. Show more
