"There was a lot of debate as to what we should do and whether we should get three extra people in, but in the end we ended up making three people into one person to give it a new lease of life," said Manuel. This streamlined approach is evident on the first single, It's My Part, which takes the sun-kissed pop of Manuel's solo work and drapes it elegantly over a Foals-meets-Vampire Weekend backdrop.
