The rectangular brass uprights frame the white linen shade like a small architectural cage, while the chains themselves form a tented silhouette that softens the geometry above. The linen shade diffuses bulb light into a warm, glare-free wash — bright enough for a dining table or kitchen island, soft enough for a bedroom or living room. The brass is finished in a hand-aged antique tone with subtle tonal variation across each piece. Features Linen Drum Shade White linen fabric diffuses bulbs into a soft, even wash — ambient and warm. Antique Brass Frame Hand-aged antique brass with rectangular uprights and four-chain suspension. Two Sizes Compact 3-head for small spaces, fuller 4-head for dining and kitchen islands. Material Combination Antique Brass · White Linen Hand-aged antique brass frame with crisp white linen drum shade. A classic American pairing — pairs with cream walls, wood floors, traditional and transitional interiors. The linen mellows beautifully when illuminated from within. The 4-head (∅ 50 cm) is the more typical chandelier size — well-suited to standard dining tables (4–6 person), kitchen islands, and medium foyers. What bulb does it take? + Each head takes one E14 candelabra base bulb (the smaller socket used in chandeliers, not standard E26/E27). Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs. Bulbs are not included. Can the chain length be adjusted? + The standard chain is 19.7" (50 cm) and can be shortened on installation by removing links. For longer drops — vaulted ceilings or open stairwells — please contact us before ordering to arrange a custom chain length. Will the linen shade yellow over time? + The linen is treated for indoor use and engineered to retain its color across the fixture's service life. Use LED bulbs (which produce minimal heat) and avoid leaving incandescent bulbs running for extended periods — heat is the main cause of fabric yellowing on drum shades.
