Ivy on Ochre is an original, completely handmade botanical monoprint, which has been designed and printed in Devon, UK. This print is a unique Edition of One (1/1), which means once it is sold out, no more will be made as it cannot be precisely replicated. It has been created using a real ivy leaf, which was pressed, inked, and carefully passed through an etching press. The joy of a botanical monoprint is in its ability to reveal the beauty and delicateness of each plant or flower's specific natural structure. No print will ever look exactly the same! The print is titled, numbered, and signed by me. It is printed onto bold yellow ochre handmade paper, with four deckled edges. This image would look lovely in a float mount, or simply pinned to the wall to show off the qualities of the print on such textured paper. DIMENSIONS:Total size (incl. paper): 4.75" x 4" approx.The print/s are unmounted. Important: As everything is handmade, there will inevitably be some slight variations with each printing; likewise coloured prints with hand-mixed inks may vary slightly in pigment between batches. This is all part of the charm and uniqueness of your purchase, as no two items will be exactly the same! If the paper has been cut or torn by hand, please also expect very minor differences in size.
