Izmir is a lightweight rayon with a luxuriously soft handle from the respected Turkish mill, Ipeker. It comes in a printed design in magenta and off-white on an ash-grey base. Lightweight and mostly opaque, it has wonderful drape, making it incredibly versatile and would work well for bias-cut pieces. A dream to work with, it's suitable for loose-fitting dresses, skirts, blouses and pants. Ipeker is a family-owned mill that was founded in 1930 and is one of the oldest fabric producers in Turkey. Now run by 3rd- and 4th-generation family members, production complies with the Green Factory sustainability program, which ensures zero waste and clean energy consumption.
