Genuine original 1920s block print, created directly from the artist’s carved woodblock. A rare miniature, part of the “Letters” series that Preston made especially for an art jour nal of the period. Each letter was designed with a particular bird, animal or flower motif and printed by the printer’s hand in 2 colours. The letter “A” in particularly has a particularly iconic Kookaburra motif.
