Our Bolt Prep is a copper based grease which must be used (or any copper based grease) when installing our products, primarily in high use applications such as brakes or stems. It helps prevent two types of metal causing galvanic corrosion, which can cause premature failure or make it difficult to remove after a period of time. Each purchase is for one (1) individual jar of J.A.B Bolt Prep.
