His designs, while being finely crafted, beg for use. His new Mini Lightning caught our attention with its sweeping style. It is a small, pocket-friendly gentleman’s build that is big on features. The handle is an expertly contoured liner lock of Ivory Micarta and blasted zirconium bolsters, separated by a thin red G10 liner. The short overall height of the build accentuates the agile 3” Persian blade. The Damasteel’s striking pattern compliments the blade’s profile perfectly. While the knife is profiled to be slim and carryable, it is secure in the hand due to the contoured handle. Hidden under the zirconium bolster is the pivot and caged bearing for effortless deployment of the flipper tab. Finer details include a floating Damasteel backspacer that matches the blade. The titanium fold over pocket clip and screws are all finished in a subtle matte blast finish. Our logo mirrors Jason’s on the opposite side of the blade.
