This, my friends, is one hell of a bag. Vintage "counterfeit mailbag" by The J. Peterman Company, Lexington Kentucky. Huge messenger is made from very thick heavy leather with super sturdy construction and solid hardware. Wear as crossbody with the double buckle strap (so many adjustment options) or just use the top handle. Extra large main compartment has a rivet closure and wide zip pocket on the front. • 15" wide (flares at sides), 12" high, 6" deep, 13" to 19" strap drop, 42" strap length• Thick softened leather, Copper, Brass hardware • Chunky zipper pocket under full flap• Adjustable rivet tab closure• Enormous unlined main compartment • Thick top handle• Removable adjustble shoulder strap• Great condition but natural distressing, just like J.
