The CAT6A IDC 4PPoE patch cable is suitable for use in plenum spaces and raised floors thanks to its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket. The cable is designed for 100W 4PPoE / PoE++ applications and is ideal for use between high-power network switches and security cameras or access points. The patch cable features 24AWG pure copper wires and 50-gauge gold-plated RJ45 contacts connected via IDC and complies with the international ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard. Suitable for 100W 4PPoE. ACT-type 4PPoE patch cables are suitable for applications requiring 100W, such as security cameras or access points. Only one patch cable is needed to provide power and network connectivity. Ideal for use between PoE network switches and security cameras or access points. Insulation Displacement Contacts (IDC) The connectors in this cable assembly are connected using the IDC method, whereas standard patch cables primarily use insulation displacement contacts (IPC). IDC is the most durable and stable option. With IDC, the wires establish optimal electrical contact through the V-shaped clamp. This results in lower resistance than with IPC. When using patch cables in a 4PPoE 100W PoE environment, the electrical resistance should be as low as possible. Using patch cables with IDC connectors ensures a stable and long-lasting network connection in 4PPoE 100W (Type 4) applications. LSZH Cable Jacket, Solid Copper Wires, and Gold-Plated Contacts The use of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket reduces the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in the event of cable damage caused by fire or short circuit. Ideal for use in plenum spaces and raised floors. The ACT S/FTP patch cable features 24AWG pure copper wire and 50g gold-plated RJ45 contacts and complies with the international standard ANSI/TIA-568.2-D.
