MEAN WELL has added its expanded XLG series of LED switching power supplies to its product range, based on a constant power and constant voltage design. New to the lineup are 150W versions. In addition to the L/H version for constant current and constant power applications, 12V and 24V versions are also available for constant voltage applications. These models are suitable for use in indoor and outdoor lighting projects, including waterproof light bars and advertising light boxes. The Type L version is designed for full-load operation from 700 to 1050mA, while the constant current of the Type M models can be adjusted from 1400 to 2100mA. Type H for full-power operation is based on a 56V output and offers different driver currents for various power consumptions. This type is suitable for COB LEDs with a forward voltage below 56V, as well as SMD LEDs, especially for luminaires requiring compliance with SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) below 60V. All models in the XLG series achieve high overvoltage protection of up to a maximum of 10kV (LN-PE) / 6kV (LN), are EN61547 and EN61000-4-5 compliant, and are suitable for all types of outdoor lighting.
