To adapt different cabling within a LAN, fiber optic converters can be used to create a functional network. Whether converting fiber optics to a traditional twisted pair network wi th a Mini-GBIC or converting fiber optics to another fiber optic network with two Mini-GBICs, the ROLINE Gigabit Converter offers both options. The ROLINE Gigabit Converter converts a Gigabit Ethernet TP port to fiber optics or a fiber optic port to another fiber optic port. Fiber optic connections can be freely selected using Mini-GBIC modules. Mini-GBIC modules are available for SX/LC and LX/LC (10 km and 20 km).
