Sometimes about a flavor profile and other times about the events that made this barrel pick possible. Staves on a plane is a Tennessee whiskey clocking in at 130.6 proof at 7yrs and 9mths in the barrel! That great Banana note you get at this proof without being overwhelming. Our new friend Andy brought us to Tennessee on his small plane making for an easy and unforgettable trip hence the name of this one. Bingo Rye is a Tennessee Rye clocking in at 129.0 proof and 6yrs old. Amazing rye that everyone searches for. This one was a shorter barrel sadly so they won’t last long. After dinner that evening of the pick Matt saw a VFW and said we need to go there. Come to find out it was bingo night and there had to be 200 people there.
