Crafted from durable, weather-resistant polyethylene, it’s suited to both indoor and outdoor living. Designed to be lived with rather than simply admired, Wisdom Wombat is intentionally both artwork and play object. Jack Flanagan is a Western Australian industrial designer and artist whose high-end furniture, objects and sculpture balance refined aesthetics with longevity. Working from his WA studio, Jack combines industrial precision with traditional craftsmanship, creating pieces that are both functional and enduring. Informed by ideas of attachment, permanence and the stories embedded in treasured objects, his practice draws on time-honoured techniques such as bronze and aluminium sand casting, turned metals and timber, alongside advanced manufacturing technologies. Every piece is carefully considered and made in Australia in collaboration with local artisans, resulting in timeless works designed to enrich spaces for decades.
