The COUNTER BACK spoon is built to remove flutter during the fall. When studying bass reactions to different lures, we found fish overwhelmingly prefer a backslide descent to a hor izontal flutter. Using that insight, our engineers focused on creating a large spoon that consistently backslides on the drop. Extensive prototyping led us to the optimal balance of blade thickness and an asymmetrical body shape. That combination produces a quick, controlled backslide even when the line is slack.
