We tested this one alot, we have changed the hardware and its landing very soon! Barramundi and other predatory fish are known for their aggressiveness but also their occasional wariness, depending on conditions. A flat sided lure can have slightly different action in the water compared to its round counterpart. A flat-sided design gives the lure a more subtle, tight wobble. This is really effective when barramundi are in a more cautious mood, such as during clear water conditions or when they’re pressured by fishing activity. The flat sides can also help the lure maintain a more stable and consistent action, even in faster currents, which is often the environment barramundi like to inhabit, especially around estuaries, tidal creeks, or mangroves.
