The jae Clear handle: made with EcoGreen – a 100% post-consumer recycled acrylic waste material. To clean the acrylic handle: remove the brass buttons and liner. Use a damp, clean soft cloth (not a paper towel) and a little mild soap. Apply a light pressure with the lukewarm soft cloth to wipe the handle, avoiding the hinges and d-rings. Rinse cloth with clean water and wipe any soap residue from the handle. Then use a clean, dry cloth to blot the handle dry. Another option is an acrylic-safe cleaner like Brillianize. Follow the directions on the packaging. DO NOT USE window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds or solvents of any kind such as acetone to clean the handle! We recommend storing our handles (in the dustcover) out of direct sunlight.
