This is a James Avery sterling silver shell charm. They call it the Baptismal Shell, because the shell has been a symbol of the sacrament of Holy Baptism for many years. There is a small blank cartouche on the back, where you could engrave a date or initials. It is in excellent condition. The back is stamped Avery© STER.
