This is a James Avery sterling silver Ichthus Ring. This design is now retired, it features an open Ichthus with a cross in the center. The Ichthus is an ancient symbol for Christ, it was used by early Christians as an "underground" method for identifying their faith. It would make a wonderful purity ring.
