Popular multipurpose apple, good for eating, cooking and juicing. Excellent, refreshing flavour. Red flushed stripes over a pale green base. A creamy, juicy soft flesh, keeps its s hape when cooked, one of the best apples to accompany your cheese board. It is self-fertile, a reliable cropper, ready to harvest mid September. Raised by James Grieve in Edinburgh, thought to be a seedling of Potts' Seedling. First recorded in 1893, then introduced by his employers Dicksons Nurserymen. Show more
