Authorial Series Jangly is a jangle-voiced compressor designed to preserve articulation, harmonic detail and natural dynamics. It refines control without compromising attack or clarity. It belongs to the Súper Pedals Authorial Series: original designs that emerge from a specific sonic tradition and reinterpret it through deliberate circuit decisions. The pedal was developed to serve a particular musical language: clear articulation, string separation and harmonic presence. Origin The pedal originated from a conversation with Brian D’Addario (The Lemon Twigs), who was looking for a compressor for his live performances capable of sustaining the articulation of his twelve-string guitar without losing natural dynamics. Jangly was developed in response to that need — maintaining attack and clarity while adding harmonic presence on stage. Brian incorporated Jangly into his touring setup, using it as a foundation of his live sound. Tonal Character Jangly enhances string separation, reinforces low-end response and introduces harmonic richness without harshness. It performs particularly well with clean and semi-clean tones on six- and twelve-string guitars seeking the classic jangle character, where articulation and dynamic integrity remain essential.
