It does not perform machine embroidery. It uses manual thread tension and a conventional detachable even-feed foot rather than automatic tension or AcuFeed Flex. It provides 210mm of width and 120mm of height to the right of the needle. Is the extra-wide extension table included? Yes. The extra-wide table is included in the official New Zealand and Australian package. How many stitches does it have? The S5AE includes 170 stitches, including ten one-step buttonholes and one Block lettering font across four alphabets. Does it include an automatic thread cutter? Yes. The programmable cutter trims the upper and bobbin threads together. Does it have automatic thread tension? No. The S5AE uses a manual numbered upper-thread tension dial. Does it include an even-feed foot? Yes. A conventional mechanical even-feed foot and quilting guide are included. Does it include AcuFeed Flex? No. AcuFeed Flex is fitted to the Skyline S6AE and S7AE. The S5AE includes a removable mechanical even-feed foot instead. Does it have automatic pivoting?
