The members of Finn Riggins met Jared Mees on New Year's Eve 2007 during a raucous house show in Jared's hometown of Pagosa Springs, CO. They fell in love with one another’s music and passion for life. By the summer of 2007 Mees and the Finn Riggins were tour buddies, endeavoring on the sweltering "No AC Tour" through the American west wherein FR served as JM's band - The JimSox. In the fall of the same year, Mees' fledgling label Tender Loving Empire released Finn Riggins first full length "A Soldier, A Saint, An Ocean Explorer" produced by Jared. 8 years and a whole lot of music, tours and kids later Jared Mees and Finn Riggins are still best of buds.
