Leopardskin jasper, also sometimes referred to as jaguar stone, is a beautiful stone of many colors with distinct spotted patterns. Jasper, in fact, gets its name from the Greek wo rd iaspi, which means "spotted stone." Leopard Skin Jasper is a form of silicon dioxide that has many inclusions which create distinct and desirable patterns. As with all natural stones, colour and look may differ from strand to strand and even from bead to bead.
