Jätkänkynttilä is a stone lantern that owes its looks to traditional open fires made from a single piece of wood preferred by hunters in the area where Hukka's factory is located i n northeastern Finland. Crafted from 2.8 billion-year-old soapstone, the same material that is used in the best natural stone fireplaces in the world, the lantern is guaranteed not to overheat.
