Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility, this 100% Arabica blend draws beans from South America, Asia, and Africa into a cup with an intense yet nuanced bouquet and real strength of character. Origin This is a blend of 100% Arabica beans drawn from three continents – South America, Asia, and Africa. Bringing together beans from such different origins is what gives Java Mocha its exotic, layered character and its intense bouquet. It is a worldly blend in the truest sense, echoing the old trade-route coffees that first carried Java and Mocha across the globe. Roast Java Mocha is built from two roast levels: 50% light-medium roast and 50% medium-dark roast. The light-medium roast caramelises the beans' natural sugars and highlights their varietal character, while the medium-dark portion builds body and depth. Together they give the blend its bold, layered intensity without losing its nuance. Brewing For filter or drip coffee, use about 1 tbsp (8 g) of coffee per 8.5 oz (250 ml) of fresh water.
