Java moss is pre-grown on a 15 x 10 cm mesh pad, creating a ready-made moss mat that can be placed directly in the aquarium without any of the preparation needed when working with loose moss. The pad provides immediate coverage and a lush, natural moss surface that shrimp and small fish use for shelter and grazing from the first day it is in the tank. Java moss is one of the easiest plants in the hobby. It grows in low light without CO2 injection and tolerates a very wide range of water conditions. The moss on the pad can be trimmed with scissors to any shape. Multiple pads can be placed side by side for wider coverage.
