Winner of the International Making Competition at the Violin Society of America in Cleveland. The elegant style of Vuillaumes instruments has inspired Jay Haide to create a new mod el in his honour. Using selected Bosnian Maple and European Spruce, the cello is based on Vuillaumes Stradivari pattern. The varnish imitates his unique lustrous golden hue.
