JB Blunk is a noted twentieth century sculptor and significant figure in the craft field in the sixties and seventies. His work was included as part of the Smithsonian Institution’s seminal 1969 exhibition Objects: USA and his masterwork The Planet (1926), a feat of environmental reclamation is on permanent view at the Oakland Museum of California.
