Key Features: Fine Grain Size: With a grain size of 0.2–0.6 mm, JBL Sansibar White offers excellent support for plant roots, promoting vigorous growth. Prevents Mulm Accumulation: The substrate's fine granulation and density prevent mulm and other waste materials from seeping in, maintaining a cleaner aquarium environment. Safe for Aquatic Life: Composed of fine, round-shaped granite sand, it is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish and does not release unwanted pollutants into the water. Enhances Natural Colors: The white substrate reduces light reflections, allowing plants and fish to display their full, natural coloring, which can help easily scared animals feel more comfortable. Usage Instructions: Rinse Before Use: Thoroughly rinse the substrate with tap water to remove any abrasion caused during transit. Layering: Spread the substrate over a nutrient substrate (such as JBL AquaBasis) to promote plant growth. For vigorous root development, a layer of approximately 6–8 cm is recommended.
