With the Jel Party, you can mold, unmold, serve, and store, all in the same container –easy to make, beautiful to behold, guaranteed to please. Its iconic crown insert is the secret to easy unmolding. Once your jellies, desserts, or appetizers are set, simply flip your Jel Party so the cover is facing down, then remove the crown insert and your creation will unmold itself. For a special touch when serving, you can fill the middle of your creation with fruits, veggies, candies, or different treats. The rectangular cover not only protects your creation while it's setting in the fridge, it's also the serving tray. Its high rim keeps moisture from your preparations in the tray and off your table. The pretty ridges all around your creation aren't just for decoration. When your guests are ready to dig in, you can use the ridges as guides to cut even portions. Dishwasher safe Not for freezer Not for use in microwave, oven, or stovetop Do not use sharp or metal utensils Center of mold should be sealed with the crown insert before filling. (See Tips for alternative.) Place mold on flat, level surface to fill, and cover with tray before placing in fridge to set according to the time indicated in your recipe. To prevent excessive condensation, do not place Jel Party against the walls of your fridge. Staining from certain foods may occur, but this does not affect the functionality of the product. Store unsealed when not in use. Approved for food use Can be recycled Assembly Attach crown insert to circular opening of Jel Party. Place Jel Party mold on a flat surface with rectangular opening facing up. Fill according to recipe. When finished filling, seal with rectangular cover. Place in fridge to set. How to unmold Remove Jel Party from fridge and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes. With cover in place, turn Jel Party over so that the cover is now the bottom and the crown insert is the top. Gently release crown insert by sliding your finger under tab and around circumference to let in air and release food. Food should release onto tray in a perfect shape. After unmolding, do not attempt to turn over Jel Party again. To serve, carefully work your way around the tray, gently pulling up the mold. TIPS For easy unmolding: Before filling, lightly brush the inside of mold with cooking oil, or rinse the mold with cold water, then add ice cubes and let it sit for 5 minutes. Discard ice water before filling with recipe. For serving: The mold has 24 ridges to yield 24 portions. Your choice of various combinations of ridges and valleys would create the number and size of portions for your situation. Use a cake server, pastry knife, or similar non-marring utensil to prevent damaging the tray. For more: The bottom of a TupperKids® plate fits into Jel Party as a flat seal in the middle when you don't want to use the crown insert. Attach it in the same manner. This eliminates the hollow center from your finished presentation and increases capacity to 12 cups/3 L.
