Made from Hair on Hide backed with veggie tanned leather for added stability. The Jenny has a zipper closure to keep all of your items secure and an inside zipper pocket for your s maller or more personal items. This style features a short strap with a 6"-9" drop (this depends on the piece of horse tack we use to create the strap) and a long crossbody strap. Dimensions are approximately: 12" W at bottom & 10.5" W at top x 10" H x 3" D The Jenny is named after a female donkey, one of the most common equines used as a pack animal. The Jenny was our first ‘saddle bag’ (first style made from saddle leather) and when we think of saddle bags we envision a ‘work horse’ that can carry a lot and that made us think of a donkey! We get most of our vintage horse tack from a local non profit, Skagit Animals In Need (SAIN). SAIN's mission is to prevent and respond to animal cruelty and neglect primarily in support of law enforcement. They hold an annual tack sale fundraiser every June, donate your used tack to SAIN and it might just end up becoming a beautiful one of a kind bag!
