Originally named ÅLJ after knitwear designer Åse Lund Jensen, this yarn was developed by Åse and Danish spinning mill Henrichsens Uldspinderi in the 1960s, out of a need for a lighter-weight yarn. Still being made by Isager today, Jensen is a 3-ply yarn, which is firm and evenly spun, well suited for textured stitches. The yarn is very durable and wears beautifully over time.
