Our Jerk Rub is based on a traditional Jamaican blend. The herby thyme notes complement the richer, warm tones of the allspice and black pepper. The warming and spicy ginger and ga rlic add depth to the flavour of this blend with a little kick from the chili flakes. Unlike most jerk rubs, we keep this one fairly mild, so if you need that heat just add a pinch of our Habanero powder. SUGGESTED USES: You can use this blend in the traditional recipe below, or just mix it with some honey and salt, and then use it to bbq chicken or pork. It also is very tasty with roasted potatoes.
